The Stay: Abbey Road Farm
Abbey Road Farm is home to a winery, tasting room, 42 acres of vineyards, a Bed & Breakfast housed in repurposed grain silos and a working farm. The tasting room features Abbey Road Farm wines, as well as guest winemakers with varying styles.
The Wine: Résonance
Founded in 2013, Résonance Wines sits in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, in a hidden part of Willamette Valley just west of the small agricultural town of Carlton. The seeds for this project were planted when Maison Louis Jadot set out to establish its first winery outside of Burgundy.
Résonance crafts expressive Pinot Noir, Rosé and Chardonnay wines from their estate vineyard and other premier sites throughout the Willamette Valley. The recently-opened tasting room is located on a dramatic hilltop on the Résonance property.
Walk among moss-covered, old-growth Oregon oak trees, and witness the breathtaking beauty of the sun-dappled Oregon Coast Range.
The Wine: Willakenzie Estate
Willakenzie Estate is a family-owned, estate winery where terroir is their inspiration. Their name, WillaKenzie, is a tribute to the ancient soils on which their vines are planted. Since breaking ground more than 25 years ago, Willakenzie is passionate about crafting wines that convey a sense of place.
The tasting room is nestled in the heart of a sprawling, 420-acre estate, one of the most diverse in the Willamette Valley with varying exposures, clonal plantings, slopes and ridgelines. Willakenzie produces six distinct block-designate Pinot Noirs, two small-production Chardonnays, Gamay, Pinot Blanc, and the Tourdion Cuvee Blanc, a signature blend inspired by the wines of Alsace.
An Estate Host will guide you through a fun and informative tasting of diverse varietals grown at the WillaKenzie Estate and the unique qualities of each of our single-vineyard Pinot Noirs, showcasing five of our estate-grown wines in a seated, pre-poured format.
The Wine: Marshall Davis Wine
Marshall Davis Wine was founded in 2011 by brothers Ryan Marshall, and Matt Marshall and winemaker Sean Davis. With a tasting room in historic downtown Carlton, Marshall Davis creates small-batch, vineyard specific Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Winemaker Sean Davis believes in minimal manipulation, letting each vineyard express itself, with more attention paid to textures and tannin management.
