Cassin Family Vineyards

My wife and I purchased our ranch in 2005 with the hope of planting grapes, building a home and digging in the dirt. The property is located 4½ miles southwest of Carlton in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA and consists of 120 acres. The vineyardsits at the 600 foot elevation and is planted with 11 acres of Pinot Noir (4 acres of Pommard, 4 acres of Wadenswil, 3 acres of Dijon 777) and 2 acres of Chardonnay Dijon clone 76. In 2016, we will plant another 4 acres of Pinot Noir, bringing the total vineyard to 17 acres. Yields will be managed to a minimum to ensure the highest quality fruit. The vineyard is farmed sustainable and will have LIVE© endorsement, including the Salmon Safe© designation. While my wife, Julie, is an artist, I’ve made a career in the waste management industry where I spend most of time representing a Fortune 200 company with their merger and acquisition program. We currently live in Portland with our 16 year old daughter, Hannah.
