J.L. Kiff Vineyard

People still use faxes?
J.L. Kiff Vineyard is a family-owned and operated estate winery in the southwest corner of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Our production is limited: 9 acres of grapes produce about 1000 cases of wine each year. Our winery is a converted pole barn which used to house hay and cattle. Our place isn't fancy, but it IS a taste of what Oregon Pinot production was like 30 years ago. When you visit, Joel and Laurie (the 'J' and the 'L') will personally and proudly introduce you to the fruit of their labors.

Volcanic soils (yes, it's true) produce Pinots with more red fruit notes, and more acidity than is typical for Yamhill-Carlton AVA wines.
Take care of the land and it will take care of you....
Of course, one could interpret that many different ways.
Pinot Noir Clones Pommard, 777, and 667. About 1/4 acre of Pinot Gris
