Our major events each year include the Yamhill-Carlton AVA Spring/Summer Tasting as well as Memorial Weekend and Thanksgiving Weekend Open Houses. In addition to these major events, our Yamhill-Carlton wineries hold regular events at their respective wineries. All winery events are shown on their individual Facebook pages and websites.

Many Yamhill-Carlton wineries open their cellars and tasting rooms for special events during the weekends before and after Thanksgiving. We invite you to come out for this unique Oregon tradition to celebrate friends, family and the completion of  harvest.

Many Yamhill-Carlton wineries host once-in-a-year events and specials, including:

EIEIO Wines returns with their annual pre-Thanksgiving open house on November 23 & 24. With an incredible BOGO sale on cases of wine, you can taste through the current selection and Jay will have library wines open as well.

Enjoy the annual barrel tasting at Ken Wright Cellars on November 23 & 24. Be the first to taste the 2024 Pinot Noir straight from the barrel! Join from 10-4 either day.

Visit Black Dog Vineyard on November 24 to enjoy live music from David Pollack in the tasting room from 3 to 5 pm. Stock up on holiday wines with 15% off 6 bottles and 20% off cases only on November 24!

Join Abbey Road Farm for their annual fall market the weekend after Thanksgiving, November 29 to December 1. Explore art and handmade goods from 25 local artists, with food and wine available for purchase. Get your Christmas shopping started early, or find a gift for yourself!

Visit big table farm at the Atelier in downtown Carlton! On November 30, the Atelier will host an open house from 11am to 3 pm. This is your chance to taste the new releases from big table farm and enjoy the current art display!

Love holiday lights? Saffron Fields Vineyard has become famous for the gorgeous lights in their garden each year, and they’ll light them on November 30, with special pours and a s’mores kit for the firepits if you feel so inclined!

2025 Yamhill-Carlton Spring Tasting

SAVE THE DATE for our most beloved event of the year! Returning Saturday, May 3, 2025, this annual event showcases around 40 Yamhill-Carlton producers with local food, in the stunning open barn at Abbey Road Farm.

Enjoy wines from participating wineries such as Anne Amie Vineyards, Belle Pente Vineyard and Winery, Elk Cove Vineyards, Ken Wright Cellars, and Willakenzie Estate. Yamhill-Carlton is known for producing world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and wineries will be pouring other varieties as well, including Riesling, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Noir Blanc, and many styles of sparkling wines, showcasing the wealth of varieties in the region. We can’t wait to host you again for the best regional event out there!
