Located in rural Carlton, Oregon since 1994, Ken Wright Cellars is committed to the production of the highest quality Pinot Noir. With a clarity and breadth that is unequaled by other varieties, Pinot noir is the ultimate transparent vehicle for connection to place. In our considered opinion, those qualities are best expressed by the fruit of the northern Willamette Valley. The luscious core of sweet, textural fruit, natural acid balance, and power is a testament to this variety’s affinity to our region.

Our approach to the craft of winemaking is one of stewardship both in the vineyard and our cellar. We believe in a hands-on, nutrition-based farming approach that is rooted in science. With the information we collect, we can achieve balanced nutrition in all of our vineyard sites. In the cellar, more often than not, manipulation of wine results in a loss of character. We believe that minimal handling of wine is essential to preserve what it is: a gift of nature. We strive for our wines to be a perfect reflection of place and vintage.
